Zenith Aces at Rogers Cup
The Boxx Zenith system gives an ace performance at the Roger Cup tennis tournament in Toronto, Canada.
An installation of the Zenith was carried out at the Rexell Centre, York University in Ontario Canada to provide a HD, wireless link for live coverage of the Rogers Cup.
Craig Wyles of VER Group had this to say:
“The system is used for our camera during promotional events within the centre court and around the site. We also used the AES audio for a host, that was used around the site to highlight activities and promotions.
The main receiver (pictured) was used for the centre court. The Zenith Receiver was covered due to wet weather for the first two days as it rained for the most part.
From that main court we connected 1 secondary antenna for covering the grounds that were approx 400-450ft away. In line, we use a POE, (power over ethernet) to extend the signal that distance.
In the other pictures, you can see the site with all other courts that the secondary antenna is covering. This was never covered during rain as it was not an issue.
Below the antenna on the ground in front of the white tent is the wireless camera preparing for a live hit.”
